18 Fitna Al Hindustan terrorists killed in two separate operations in Balochistan: ISPR

Security forces killed eighteen terrorists linked to an Indian-backed militant outfit, Fitna al Hindustan, in two intelligence-based operations (IBOs) conducted in Balochistan on October 28 and 29, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Thursday.

According to the military’s media wing, the first operation took place in the Chiltan Mountains area of Quetta District, where troops engaged terrorists based on confirmed intelligence reports.

“During the conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, and after an intense fire exchange, fourteen Indian sponsored terrorists were sent to hell,” the ISPR said in a statement.

In another operation carried out in the Buleda area of Kech District, security forces raided a terrorist hideout and killed four more militants.

“A terrorist hideout was busted and four terrorists were successfully neutralised,” the statement added.

The ISPR said that weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the killed terrorists, who had been involved in numerous attacks in the province.

The military’s media wing further noted that sanitisation operations were underway to eliminate any remaining elements in the area.

“Sanitisation operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored terrorist found in the area as relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision ‘Azm-e-Istehkam’, as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan, will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country,” the statement concluded.
