Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi arrived in Tehran on Tuesday, where he was received by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Iran Mudassir Tipu.

Naqvi is scheduled to attend the meeting of interior ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organisation (ECO), which will be held in Tehran on Tuesday.

The minister is also expected to hold meetings with the Iranian leadership on the sidelines of the conference.

According to officials, Interior Secretary Khurram Agha had already reached Tehran a day earlier.

Senior officials have finalised the agenda for the ministerial session during preparatory meetings held ahead of the main event.
