Popular YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, known as Ducky Bhai, remains in custody in connection with an illegal online gambling promotion case, while investigations have been expanded to include his wife Aroob Jatoi and manager Subhan, officials said.
The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) arrested Ducky Bhai on August 16, along with his wife, when the couple was about to travel abroad.
Both Aroob Jatoi and the manager are currently on interim bail, according to court records.
Investigators allege that Ducky Bhai used his social media influence for financial gain, encouraging the public to invest in online gambling applications, which led many people to lose their savings.
A case against him was registered by the state under sections related to electronic fraud, deception, and cybercrime, officials confirmed.
Sources said the investigation also covers money laundering allegations against Ducky Bhai, his wife, and his manager.
According to preliminary findings, the YouTuber allegedly received funds through Dubai-based channels, and two of his bank accounts — one with Rs16 million and another with Rs5 million — are being examined for suspicious activity.
The NCCIA continues to probe the matter, with digital and financial forensics underway to trace the money trail and verify the alleged foreign transactions.
