Security forces eliminated eight Indian-backed Fitna Al Khawarij militants and injured five others during an operation in Lakki Marwat’s Wanda Sheikh Allah area, security sources said on Friday.

According to the sources, the operation was conducted based on intelligence reports, and the militants were given no chance to escape due to the forces’ high level of tactical skill.

A search operation was underway in the area amid concerns about the possible presence of more terrorists, the sources added.

They further said that operations under the National Action Plan will continue until the elimination of the last militant and full restoration of peace.
