The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Tuesday placed a bounty of Rs100 million on the head of outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) commander Kazim, who hails from Kurram district.
According to sources, a clear and recent photograph of the wanted militant has been released for the first time.
Commander Kazim is accused of orchestrating the martyrdom of Lieutenant Colonel Junaid Arif and Major Tayyab Rahat, the sources said.
He is also wanted for attacks on military convoys en route to Parachinar and on passenger vehicles carrying pilgrims, as well as for an assassination attempt on Kurram Deputy Commissioner Javedullah Mehsud.
In addition, the wanted terrorist has been involved in multiple attacks targeting the army, police, Frontier Corps, and other security forces, according to security officials.
