Gold has attained an apparently “unstoppable” leap in Pakistan’s local market, as the rates reached a record high on Friday, crossing the mark of Rs450,000 per tola.
Price per tola went up by Rs14,100 in a single day, while 10 grams of gold increased by Rs 12,089.
The 10 grams of gold reached a record Rs391,718, and one tola rose to Rs 456,900.
Gold had notched a new high above $4,300 an ounce on Friday in the Global markets.
Meanwhile, silver price per tola also gained Rs167 to settle at Rs5,504, another all-time high.
