Gold price rises again in Pakistan amid global market surge

Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Saturday, tracking an upward trend in the international market.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold rose by Rs2,100 per tola, reaching Rs422,700 in the local market.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold climbed by Rs1,800, closing at Rs362,397.

A day earlier, gold prices had recorded a decline of Rs4,578 per tola, settling at Rs420,600 on Friday.

In the international market, gold also posted gains, with the global rate rising by $21 to $4,016 per ounce, inclusive of a $20 premium, according to APGJSA.

Meanwhile, the price of silver remained unchanged at Rs5,100 per tola.
