A Lahore court on Friday sent Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Falak Javed to jail on judicial remand in two separate cases, including one related to an alleged anti-state tweet.
Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo heard the remand request after the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency produced the accused before the court on completion of her two-day physical remand.
The court ordered that Falak Javed be sent to jail on judicial remand.
Separately, an Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore heard a case related to the Zaman Park arson incident.
During the hearing, police sought permission to interrogate the accused in jail.
Granting the request, ATC Judge Manzar Ali Gul allowed the investigating officer to interrogate within the jail premises in connection with the case registered at Race Course Police Station.
