Google has announced a free one-year subscription to its Gemini AI Pro Plan for students aged 18 and above in Pakistan, enabling them to enhance their learning, research, and creativity through advanced AI tools — at no cost.
According to a news release, students availing the offer will gain access to Gemini 2.5 Pro, Google’s most capable AI model, featuring tools such as Deep Research to assist with academic assignments, research, and creative projects.
The plan also integrates Gemini in Google Apps, bringing AI assistance directly to Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Meet, helping students summarise emails, prepare study presentations, and analyse data more efficiently.
Students will also benefit from NotebookLM, Google’s personalised AI-powered research and writing tool, now offering five times more Audio Overviews and Notebooks.
Additionally, they can create dynamic videos from text or photos using upgraded tools such as Veo 3 in Gemini and Flow, along with 2 TB of cloud storage across Google Drive, Gmail, and Photos for secure storage of notes, projects, and academic materials.
The initiative is part of Google’s broader mission to empower students worldwide with the AI tools they need to advance their education and unlock their creativity.
The Gemini AI Pro Plan for students is available across multiple Asia-Pacific countries, including Pakistan.
Eligible university students can register online to receive free access for up to one year and begin exploring Google’s most advanced AI features.
