The Dubai Fountain has resumed its captivating performances against the iconic backdrop of the Burj Khalifa after a five-month hiatus, enchanting visitors with its stunning display.

The popular attraction welcomed the public back with an opening show set to an Arabic melody, attracting large crowds eager to witness its grand return. Founder of Emaar Properties, Mohamed Alabbar, the developer of the Burj Khalifa, remarked that the Dubai Fountain represents “the spirit and energy of Dubai,” bringing joy and wonder to all who visit.

Recent upgrades feature cutting-edge technology, refreshed choreography, and improved sound and lighting systems, all designed to enhance the audience experience.

Regular performances will now be held every half-hour from 6pm to 11pm daily. Afternoon shows will take place at 1pm and 1:30pm from Saturday to Thursday, and at 2pm and 2:30pm on Fridays.

Construction of the Dubai Fountain began in 2005, with its grand opening occurring in 2009. Recognized as the world’s largest dancing fountain, it can launch water jets up to 152 meters high, supported by 6,600 lights and 25 color projectors.

A second phase of renovations is set to begin in the second quarter of 2026.
