The Pakistan women’s cricket team will face Bangladesh in their opening match of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup today (Thursday) in Colombo.
The match is scheduled to start at 3pm local time.
The Pakistan team will hold a practice session at the Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Sri Lanka on Wednesday evening as they prepare for their first challenge in the tournament.
The tournament’s main round will be played in the round-robin format between September 30 and October 26.
The top four teams at the end of the group stage will qualify for the semifinals on October 29 and 30.
The final will be played on November 2.
