The United States Navy ship USS Wayne E. Meyer arrived at Karachi Port for a two-day visit, marking another milestone in the expanding maritime cooperation between the Pakistan Navy and the US Navy.
Pakistan Navy officials extended a warm welcome to the visiting crew, joined by the US Chargé d’Affaires and officials from the US Consulate.
During the visit, officers and sailors of USS Wayne E. Meyer will engage with their Pakistan Navy counterparts through professional exchanges, combined training sessions, and focused operational dialogues.
These activities aim to enhance interoperability, foster mutual understanding, and strengthen operational coordination between the two navies.
The visit will conclude with a Passage Exercise (PASSEX) in the North Arabian Sea, featuring joint manoeuvres between USS Wayne E. Meyer and Pakistan Navy ships.
The port call underscores the growing maritime partnership between Pakistan and the United States, reaffirming their shared commitment to regional stability and global peace.
