A groom went missing on the day of his wedding from the Madina Colony area of Korangi, Karachi.

According to sources, a case of the groom’s alleged abduction has been registered at the Zaman Town Police Station. The case was filed by the groom’s father, Waseem.

The groom’s brother stated that Jahanzeb, who works at a private factory, was abducted by unknown people.

According to the FIR, Jahanzeb’s wedding procession (baraat) was scheduled for September 11. He had gone to a salon at 6pm to get ready, but never returned home afterwards.

The report stated that Jahanzeb had left his mobile phone at home, and at 7.30pm, the family received a call from the salon informing them that he had not arrived there at all.

Police stated that a case has been registered and search efforts to locate the missing groom have begun.
