Gandapur says his passport has been blocked since May 9

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur revealed on Wednesday that his passport has been blocked since May 9, preventing him from travelling abroad.

Speaking to the media at the KP Assembly, Gandapur said he had applied for a new passport but authorities had refused to issue it.

“I applied, but they are not giving it to me,” he remarked.

The chief minister also alleged that he has repeatedly been denied permission to meet the PTI founder.

“I have tried several times, but I am not allowed to meet him,” he told reporters.

Gandapur further said that if permitted by his party leader, he would even travel to Afghanistan without a visa.

“Through the media, I want to convey this message that if Khan Sahib orders, I don’t even need a visa to go to Afghanistan,” he added.
