The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued the schedule for by-elections on National and Provincial Assembly seats left vacant following the disqualification of PTI-backed members.
According to the notification, nomination papers can be filed from August 28 to August 30, while scrutiny of the papers will be completed by September 3.
Appeals against the decisions will be decided by September 12, and the last date for withdrawal of candidature is September 15. Election symbols will be allotted to candidates on September 16.
