The Balochistan government has dispatched a large consignment of relief goods to flood-affected families in Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind, the relief supplies were dispatched on the instructions of Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti to meet the urgent needs of the affected people in the two provinces.
The relief consignment contains basic necessities and non-food items, which will be distributed among the affected families.

He said that relief goods have been sent for 1,500 affected families in Gilgit-Baltistan and 1,000 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
On the occasion, Shahid Rind and PDMA Director General Jahanzeb Khan sent off the relief supplies to the affected areas.
The spokesperson said that the Balochistan government stands with the people of Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in this hour of difficulty.
