A private airline flight from Islamabad to Karachi narrowly escaped an accident on Saturday after the aircraft was struck by a bird during takeoff.
According to officials, the captain immediately aborted takeoff and brought the plane to a halt on the runway. A team of engineers was promptly dispatched to inspect the aircraft for any damage.
The unexpected delay sparked anxiety among passengers, who expressed frustration and raised concerns onboard.
A spokesperson for the Pakistan Airports Authority confirmed that after a thorough technical inspection, the aircraft was declared safe and allowed to resume its journey to Karachi without further complications.
