After the successful negotiations between Sindh Transport Minister Sharjeel Memon, the Dumper Association decided to call off sit-ins at two locations across Karachi on Sunday.
The protests were staged against the burning of dumpers following the death of a brother and sister in a dumper accident on Rashid Minhas Road.
According to reports, the association had staged sit-ins at two locations, including Super Highway, to protest the incident.
The sit-in on the highway was called off after talks were successful, while the protest at Rashid Minhas Road was also ended after Minister Memon assured the dumper owners of compensation.
The Dumper Association said the losses would be compensated by tomorrow and announced the end of protests across the city.
