Overseas Pakistanis sent home $3.2 billion in remittances during July, reflecting a 7.4 per cent increase compared to the same month last year, according to data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
Saudi Arabia remained the largest source of inflows, contributing $823.7 million.
This was followed by the United Arab Emirates with $665 million, the United Kingdom with $450 million, and the United States with $269.6 million.
The SBP noted that the steady growth in remittances underscores the continued trust of Pakistanis abroad in supporting the country’s economy.
