Gold prices rise again in local and global markets

Gold prices in Pakistan rose again on Monday amid ongoing volatility in local and global markets.

Gold prices increased by Rs500 per tola and Rs429 per 10 grams, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association.

The latest rise reflects a steady upward trend that has persisted in recent days.

Globally, the price of gold per ounce also climbed, gaining $5 to reach $3,368, as investors reacted to macroeconomic uncertainty and currency market movements.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged in both domestic and international markets. In Pakistan, silver held steady at Rs3,953 per tola, and $37.20 per ounce globally.

It is worth noting that in the previous major jump, gold prices had surged by Rs6,100 per tola in the local market, with a corresponding $61 per ounce increase in the international market.
