Gold prices in Pakistan declined for the second straight day on Friday, tracking losses in the international market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola settled at Rs352,900, marking a decrease of Rs100.
Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold fell by Rs86 to Rs302,555.
The latest drop comes a day after the precious metal witnessed a sharp fall of Rs2,000 per tola on Thursday, when it had closed at Rs353,000.
On the global front, gold prices also inched lower. The APGJSA reported the international rate at $3,302 per ounce, reflecting a modest decline of $1, inclusive of a $20 premium.
In contrast, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market. The per tola rate held steady at Rs3,900.
