The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted light to moderate rain in Karachi today. The weather is currently overcast, with high humidity and a muggy atmosphere, making the heat feel more intense.
According to the Met Office, the current temperature in the city stands at 33°C, with the maximum expected to reach 35°C later in the day. Winds are blowing from the southwest at a speed of 18 kilometres per hour, while the humidity level is recorded at 60%.
The Meteorological Department also forecasts rainfall in other districts of Sindh, as the monsoon system continues to affect parts of the province.
Residents are advised to stay cautious, especially during peak rain hours, as the combination of heat, humidity, and potential rainfall may lead to urban flooding in low-lying areas.
