After the tragic death of model and actress Humaira Asghar in Karachi, whose body was discovered in a flat in the DHA Phase 6, the Karachi Police have launched an Investigation to find out the real causes of the actress’ death and the circumstances related to it.

The SSP South has constituted a high-level investigation committee under the leadership of the SP Clifton

The committee will investigate the matter to determine whether the death of the well-known actress and model was natural, accidental, suicide or homicide.

It will collect all the evidence and examine various aspects associated with the death.

Headed by the SP Clifton, the investigative team includes SDPO Defence, ASP Nida Junaid, SHO Gizri Farooq Sanjrani, Sub-Inspector Mohammad Amjad, and Constable Mohammad Adil from the IT branch.

The team has been directed to update authorities daily as the investigation progresses.

Police have also obtained the data of three mobile phones, a laptop, and an iPad that belonged to Humaira Asghar.

So far, statements from two individuals have been recorded, and two more individuals have been summoned for questioning.

Police officials have stated that they are thoroughly reviewing all aspects of the case, and a complete analysis of all evidence is essential before drawing any conclusions.

Given the public interest in the case, police authorities have assured that a transparent and thorough investigation will be conducted.
