Karachi is experiencing partly cloudy conditions, with the Met Office forecasting intermittent light drizzle throughout the day.

According to the latest weather update, the city’s current temperature stands at 30 degree Celsius, though the heat index makes it feel more like 36 degree Celsius. Humidity levels remain high at 74 percent.

The Met Office predicts that temperatures could rise to a maximum of 35 degree Celsius today, with the perceived temperature due to humidity and other factors expected to reach as high as 39 degree Celsius to 40 degree Celsius during the day.

Authorities have advised residents to take precautions against the heat and humidity and to avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, especially during peak hours.
