Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday held a telephonic conversation with the President of Iran to discuss the prevailing situation in the region.

During the call, the two leaders exchanged views on the current developments in Iran.

Prime Minister Shehbaz strongly condemned Israel’s unprovoked aggression and expressed deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives.

He offered condolences to the Iranian people and leadership and prayed for the swift recovery of those injured. The Prime Minister also voiced serious concerns over recent US strikes in the region.
