The report pointed out the potential for damage to weak infrastructure in some regions due to high winds and gusts, prompting authorities to advise citizens to take necessary precautions.
In southern regions, particularly Sindh, a severe heatwave continues.
Although there has been a slight drop in temperatures, hot and dry conditions are expected to persist.

Today’s maximum temperatures are predicted to reach 37 degrees Celsius in Islamabad, 36 in Quetta, 44 in Lahore, 41 in Peshawar, 39 in Karachi, 38 in Muzaffarabad, and 34 in Gilgit.
The PMD encourages residents to limit outdoor activities during the extreme heat, stay hydrated, and follow safety measures.
