Another earthquake rattles parts of Karachi

Karachi has once again experienced earthquake tremors, bringing the total number to 37 in just 12 days.

The latest tremor struck at 1:44am last night in the Quaidabad and Malir areas, forcing residents to flee their homes in fear.

The Seismological Centre reported that the earthquake had a magnitude of 2.6 on the Richter scale and occurred at a depth of 10 kilometres.

The epicentre was located within a one-kilometre radius of Malir.

Officials confirmed that the tremor was brief and caused no casualties or property damage.

Residents in other parts of the city, including Gadap, DHA, Korangi, and Malir, also reported feeling the earthquake jolts.

Seismologists maintained that the magnitudes of the recent tremors have ranged between 1.8 and 3.6 on the Richter scale.
