The victim in DHA Karachi assault case, Sudhir, has shared details of the incident, revealing how he and his family were attacked by an armed men, including Salman Farooqi, following a minor collision on the road.
In an interview with Aaj News, Sudhir explained that as he arrived in DHA to pick his sisters from their office when hi motorcycle slightly bumped into a car.
He further added that the driver immediately started beating him despite Sudhir repeatedly apologizing.
Sudhir also stated that another armed man was present, who forcibly dragged him into the car and continued to assault him inside.
According to Sudhir, a businessman, Salman Farooqi and the armed man repeatedly beat him while his sisters begged for mercy.
However, he stated that after severely beating and threatening Sudhir, the attackers finally released him.
Aaj News successfully traced down Sudhir on Tuesday, a day after he and his family left their home.
Karsachi Police arrested Farooqi, who was involved in the violent assault of a citizen in Karachi’s upscale Defence area on Monday.
Also, police arrested another suspect, Owais Hashmi, in connection with the case.
