The Met Office predicts that most districts across the country will experience hot and dry weather over the next 24 hours, with some areas likely to see rain accompanied by thunderstorms.
In the federal capital, Islamabad, and its surrounding regions, hot and dry weather is expected. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is expected to remain generally hot and dry, although isolated rain showers may occur.
In Punjab, heat and dryness will dominate most districts; however, thunderstorms and rain are forecasted for Murree, Galyat, and nearby areas.
Rain is also expected in Bahawalnagar, Multan, Sahiwal, Pakpattan, Khanewal, and Dera Ghazi Khan.
Sindh will experience extreme heat and dryness, while Balochistan’s districts will also face similar conditions.

In Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, thunderstorms with strong winds and rain are likely, which may provide some respite from the heat.
The PMD has urged the public to take necessary precautions against the heat and exercise caution when traveling in areas anticipating rainfall.
