Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved a four-day public holiday on the occasion of Eidul Azha, according to official sources.
The federal government has decided to observe Eid holidays from Friday, June 6 to Monday, June 9. During this period, all government and private offices, educational institutions, and banks will remain closed.
Sources further confirmed that a formal notification will be issued by the Cabinet Division shortly.
The extended break will allow citizens across the country to celebrate Eid with their families and loved ones without disruption from routine work schedules.
