A massive data breach on a global scale has compromised the personal information of more than 180 million users, affecting accounts linked to major platforms such as Google, Facebook, Apple, Instagram, and Snapchat.
According to an advisory issued by the National Computer Emergency Response Team (NCERT), the breach is not limited to social media users, accounts tied to government portals and financial institutions are also believed to be at risk.
The leaked data reportedly includes email addresses, phone numbers, login credentials, and other sensitive user information.
In response, NCERT has urged all users to promptly update their passwords and activate two-factor authentication to safeguard their accounts.

Additionally, government agencies and organizations that manage sensitive data have been directed to implement immediate cybersecurity measures to prevent potential cyberattacks or financial losses.
