The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will convene on Tuesday (tomorrow) to sight the Dhu al-Hijjah crescent, which will determine the dates for Eid-ul-Adha 2025 in Pakistan.
If the moon is sighted on May 27, Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated on June 6. However, if the crescent is sighted on May 28, the first day of Eid will fall on June 7.
According to the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (Suparco), the new moon is expected to be born on May 27 at 8:02pm.
The Hajj pilgrimage is anticipated to take place between June 4 and June 9 this year.
