After a significant decline of Rs10,400 per tola just a day earlier, gold prices in Pakistan rebounded sharply on Tuesday with an increase of Rs3,700 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs344,200.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs3,700 per tola and Rs3,173 per 10 grams, pushing the 10-gram rate to Rs295,096. Meanwhile, 22-karat gold now stands at Rs270,514 per 10 grams after a Rs2,821 increase.
Silver prices also saw an upward trend, with per tola silver rising by Rs82 to Rs3,482, and 10 grams silver increasing by Rs71 to Rs2,985.
In the international market, the price of gold surged by $37, reaching $3,258 per ounce.
This sudden rise follows three consecutive days of declines, including Monday’s dramatic drop. On Monday, the gold rate had plunged by Rs10,400 per tola, taking it down to Rs340,500. However, renewed momentum in global markets has triggered another trend, reversing the local price movement once again.
