Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir addressed the participants of the 15th National Workshop Balochistan, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). A large number of parliamentarians, bureaucrats, civil society representatives, and media personnel attended the event.
During his address, the army chief highlighted the ongoing development projects in Balochistan aimed at ensuring long-term benefits for the province’s people.
He stated that foreign-sponsored terrorism poses a serious threat to Balochistan’s security and development. However, he made it clear that the nefarious designs of anti-state elements would not be allowed to succeed.
The ISPR added that General Asim Munir urged participants to continue their collective efforts for a brighter future of Balochistan, so that peace, stability, and development in the province could be realised.
