Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar visited the Line of Control alongside representatives from international and local media, with the Ministry of Information providing comprehensive support throughout the visit.
The purpose was to challenge India’s baseless propaganda against Pakistan by presenting ground realities.
Media representatives were taken to specific locations that India has accused of being terrorism hotspots.
During the visit, journalists observed the local conditions, heard firsthand testimonies, and gained insights into the truth behind India’s unfounded claims.
Tarar emphasized that areas labeled by India as terrorist camps are actually civilian regions. He reiterated that Pakistan is a responsible state committed to regional and global peace, stating, “We advocate for peace but will defend our sovereignty at all costs.”
Tarar also called on India to recognize the serious human rights violations occurring in occupied Kashmir before making accusations.

He pointed out that India uses propaganda along the Line of Control to divert attention from its internal challenges, but today’s visit allowed the international media to witness the reality for themselves.
The Federal Minister reiterated Pakistan’s desire for peace in the region, asserting that any aggression from India would be met with an immediate and strong response.
