Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Provincial President Junaid Akbar Khan has reaffirmed unwavering loyalty to the party’s founding chairman, stating that “no FIRs, no bullets, and no prisons can shake our commitment.”
Speaking at a PTI corner meeting in Hangu, Junaid Akbar delivered a defiant message to political opponents and the state alike.
“My leader has a big heart. Go and apologize — he will forgive you,” he said, addressing the authorities. “You can register cases against us, torture us, even try to label us traitors or terrorists — we will still stand with the founder of PTI.”
Akbar emphasized that dissent exists in every party and is a sign of vitality, announcing plans to organize worker conventions in every district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. “They thought they could break us through oppression and arrests, but such actions only strengthen political movements,” he added.
In a scathing critique of the state’s response to peaceful protests, he said, “We regarded the state as a mother, but that very state opened fire on protesters. Our workers were subjected to cruelty and injustice. This time, we will take to the streets fully prepared. Only those who can take bullets and endure jail should come forward.”
Akbar reiterated that PTI supporters would never abandon their leader, regardless of the pressure. “You will not be forgiven until you are held accountable,” he declared. “But my leader is merciful — if you seek forgiveness, he may forgive.”
Meanwhile, the PTI workers’ convention in Hangu witnessed turmoil as chaos erupted when workers prevented former senator and ex-MPA Aurangzeb Khan from addressing the gathering. According to sources, workers repeatedly tried to storm the stage and disrupted the speeches with loud criticism.

Despite appeals for calm and patience from party leaders on stage, the workers remained adamant. “Aurangzeb Khan will not be allowed to speak,” they shouted, underscoring growing internal tensions within PTI ranks.
