Pakistan has strongly rejected Indian media’s baseless reports about imaginary terrorist camps in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), conducting a media tour to expose the fabricated claims.
In response to Indian media outlets like Times of India and India Today broadcasting reports of alleged terrorist camps near the Line of Control (LoC), Pakistan invited both international and local journalists to visit the claimed locations. These visits were arranged to directly counter what security sources describe as “propaganda based entirely on lies.”
Journalists were taken to areas such as Kail, Leepa, Kotli, and Forward Kahuta, which were specifically named in the Indian reports. The on-ground reality, as witnessed by the media, contradicted the Indian narrative, according to Pakistani officials.
Security sources emphasized that Indian media’s campaign is a deliberate attempt to manipulate international public opinion. They added that such tactics have historically been used by India, including false flag operations like the Pulwama incident and fabricated narratives such as those around Pahalgam.
Today’s continuation of the media tour across AJK further underlines Pakistan’s commitment to transparency. Journalists are being shown all key locations falsely cited in Indian reports, aiming to debunk these assertions with clear evidence.
Officials noted that India may be using the naming of these areas to create a pretext for future aggression. However, Pakistan remains resolute in unveiling the truth to the world.
The security establishment stated: “India’s attempt to spark tension in the region has once again failed. Pakistan will keep revealing the reality behind these manufactured stories to ensure the world sees the facts on the ground.”
Indian media has often been accused of running government-aligned narratives, earning labels such as “Godi media” for toeing the official line. The recent claims, including alleged escapes of militants from camps near the LoC into Indian territory, have been firmly denied by Pakistan and are now being actively refuted through journalistic verification.
Pakistan’s transparency campaign reflects a broader effort to maintain regional peace and counter baseless provocations with open access and facts on the ground.
