During the ceremony, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz launched the e-portal by pressing the activation button, officially opening it for applications.

Eligible individuals can apply for free 3-marla residential plots.

She also announced the distribution of 2,000 plots across 23 housing schemes in 19 districts, including areas such as Jhelum, Pattoki, Mamun Kanjan, Lodhran, and Renala Khurd.

Eligibility criteria

The criteria are as follows:

• Must hold permanent residence status in Punjab as per CNIC
• Only accepted within the applicant’s native district
• Applicant, spouse, and dependent children must not own any property in Pakistan
• A clean criminal record is mandatory
• Not be a bank or financial institution defaulter

Program

• As part of this initiative, eligible individuals will receive 3-marla residential plots at no cost.
• The program will be implemented in phases, beginning with the allocation of 1,892 plots across 23 schemes in 19 districts.
• This effort aims to support homeless people by granting land ownership to those in need.
