The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted more rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in various parts of the country, including the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
According to the latest advisory, strong winds and thunderstorms are expected in most districts nationwide over the next 24 hours.
There is also a possibility of hailstorms in some areas. Heavy downpours are likely in Islamabad and its surrounding regions.
The Met Office has also predicted rain with strong winds and thunderstorms in parts of Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.
In Punjab, while the majority of districts are expected to experience dry and hot weather, rain is forecast for Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, and Chakwal.
Thunderstorms are also predicted in Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Sahiwal, Kasur, Okara, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Khushab, Sargodha, Mianwali, and Dera Ghazi Khan.
Most areas of Sindh and Balochistan are likely to remain hot and dry.
However, rain is expected in Zhob, Musakhel, Barkhan, Khuzdar, Lasbela, and Awaran.
Cities such as Sukkur, Ghotki, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Larkana, and Shaheed Benazirabad may also receive rainfall, while isolated thunderstorms are possible in Khairpur and surrounding areas.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, partly cloudy weather with chances of rain has been forecast.
Rain is likely in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Haripur, Kohistan, Shangla, Buner, Malakand, Waziristan, Kohat, Hangu, Lakki Marwat, Bajaur, Mohmand, Karak, Khyber, Peshawar, Swabi, Charsadda, and Mardan.
A few areas in Kurram, Dera Ismail Khan, and Bannu may also experience rainfall.
