The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that international cricket is making a long-awaited return to Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium, which will host Bangladesh for a five-match T20I series in May.
Originally slated as a three-ODI and three-T20I series, the format was revised following discussions between the two cricket boards, now focusing on five T20Is as part of the build-up to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup next year.
May 21: Arrival of the Bangladesh team
May 25: First T20I at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad
May 27: Second T20I at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad
May 30: Third T20I at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore
June 1: Fourth T20I at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore
June 3: Fifth T20I at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore
The Bangladesh team will arrive on May 21, with training sessions at Iqbal Stadium scheduled for May 22 to 24.
