Ishaq Dar leads high-level delegation to Afghanistan

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is set to embark on a one-day visit to Afghanistan today, accompanied by a high-level delegation.

During the visit, Dar will engage in discussions with Afghanistan’s Acting Prime Minister Mullah Mohammad Hasan Akhund and Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi.

Foreign Office spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan emphasized the significance of this visit, noting that the Pakistani and Afghan delegations will focus on the security situation in Afghanistan.

In related news, a representative delegation from the Afghan government met yesterday with Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry and Secretary of Interior Muhammad Khurram Agha to discuss various issues, including transit trade and the repatriation of Afghan nationals.
