Saudi Arabia launches ‘Tasreeh’ digital platform for hajj permit issuance

Saudi Arabia has introduced the ‘Tasreeh’ platform, which is a digital system designed to issue Hajj permits for pilgrims and workers entering Makkah.

This initiative aims to streamline the permit process, ensuring a more organized and efficient pilgrimage season.

The ‘Tasreeh’ platform allows for the electronic issuance of permits, reducing paperwork and expediting entry procedures.

By digitising the permit process, authorities seek to minimize unauthorized entries and maintain the sanctity and security of the holy sites during Hajj.

The platform also helps streamline, regulate, and coordinate procedures throughout the Hajj season, while enhancing the quality of services provided to pilgrims, allowing them to carry out their rituals with greater ease and comfort.

This initiative supports the goals of the Doyof Al-Rahman Program, a key component of Saudi Vision 2030.

Additionally, the Tasreeh Platform represents a modern technological solution, allowing security personnel at Makkah’s entry points to automatically scan and verify permits using the Maidan application.
