Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has announced two major “Palestine Marches” — one in Multan on April 18 and another in Islamabad on April 20 — as part of its nationwide campaign to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Gaza and to denounce Israeli aggression.
The announcement came during a massive Gaza March organized by JI on Lahore’s historic Mall Road, held on the call of JI Ameer Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman. Citizens participated in large numbers, arriving in the form of caravans to demonstrate their unwavering support for Palestinians.
Addressing the rally, Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman said that “the entire Pakistani nation is chanting death to Israeli agents and American stooges.” He emphasized that the upcoming marches in Multan and Islamabad would be “historic in scale and spirit.”
He fiercely criticized the Pakistani leadership, urging them to “wake up to the reality” and expose those who allegedly supported normalization with Israel. “Reveal the names of traitors and journalists sent to Israel,” he demanded. “If the rulers dare support Israel, we will make them a lesson for others. Israel is killing our children. Bombs are tearing children apart — the Muslim Ummah will avenge every drop of their blood.”
Nationwide protests erupt in Pakistan in solidarity with Palestinians
Hafiz Naeem asserted that “Israel cannot withstand the resistance of the Mujahideen. It only murders children, women, and journalists through bombings. But when its ground forces advance, their soldiers meet their fate in hell.”
He questioned the silence of Pakistan’s political leadership:“Why are the rulers and opposition leaders afraid to speak up? Why don’t they challenge the U.S., which supports the murderers of innocent children?”
He declared in strong terms, “We will never recognize Israel. There is only one legitimate state — the State of Palestine. Masjid Al-Aqsa is our faith and our soul. While Gaza is bombed and their water is cut off, where are the so-called champions of human rights?”
Hafiz Naeem also announced plans to call for a nationwide strike and consult with business communities, saying,“We will show the world that we are not with terrorist states like the U.S. and Israel. We stand with the people of Palestine.”

In a message to regional powers, he said, “Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia must stand with the Palestinians. Every Muslim child born in the world today should be like Hamas. Hamas symbolizes the struggle against oppression.” He urged recognition of Hamas and called for opening its office in Pakistan.
