The Punjab Education Department will announce the results of the annual examinations for classes one to eight on Friday, April 4, following Eid ul-Fitr, instead of the usual March 31.
This announcement will occur during the Eid holidays, requiring teachers, class in-charges, school heads, and relevant non-teaching staff to return to schools to facilitate the announcement.
Ceremonies will take place in every government school, where position holders and students will receive awards.
According to the Punjab Teachers Union and various teachers’ organizations, the results for the examinations have already been finalised.
