Fruits are also costly, with oranges available for Rs500, apples for Rs300, and strawberries fetching Rs1,600 per kilogram.
The President of the Traders Association has expressed concerns over the situation, criticizing the lack of price regulation that allows shopkeepers to set prices arbitrarily.
Moreover, educational institutions in Parachinar have been closed for two months, raising concerns about the potential loss of the academic year for students.
