Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal was spotted with social media influencer RJ Mahvash at the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 finale in Dubai on March 9.
Mahvash took to her Instagram profile, captioning, “Kaha tha na jita ke aungi [I told you that I will make Indian team’s win possible]. I am a good omen for team India!”
This was not the first occasion the pair had been seen together. In December of the previous year, Mahvash posted a photo with Chahal, fueling dating speculation about them.
After her Instagram post with Chahal that ignited dating rumours, Mahvash publicly dismissed the speculation as “baseless.” She called on fans to respect her privacy and avoid spreading false information.
In response, Chahal also urged fans not to engage in such rumours, noting the distress it has caused his family.
Mahvash is a well-known radio jockey who began her career at Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM. She is recognised for creating witty and relatable content on YouTube.
Last month, Chahal’s lawyer, Nitin K Gupta, confirmed that a divorce had been filed. In an official statement to Hindustan Times, he stated, “Mr. Chahal has reached a settlement to obtain a Divorce by Mutual Consent with Mrs. Verma. A petition for this divorce was submitted to the Hon’ble Family Court in Bandra. The case is currently under judicial consideration.”
