The Sindh Transport Department has announced an extension in the operating hours of the People’s Bus Service during the holy month of Ramazan.
Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon stated that from the 15th of Ramazan, the bus service will operate until 1am.
The extended hours will apply to buses running on routes R1, R2, R3, R4, R9, R10, and EV1.
Memon emphasised that the Sindh government understands the challenges faced by Karachi’s residents during Ramazan, particularly those who rely on public transport.

He assured that efforts would be made to ensure safe transportation for citizens returning home after shopping. The minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to offering better and more accessible travel options.
Memon urged Karachi residents to take full advantage of the extended bus service, highlighting that the Sindh government is taking all possible steps for public welfare.
