The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has launched the KP Government Housing Scheme’ for its employees through the housing foundation.

In a statement, the provincial government said that civil servants would be able to build houses at affordable prices.

Interested employees can submit their applications through the Google app ‘Dastak’.

The employees would be allotted plots as per their divisional preferences, seniority and prevailing laws. “Only online applications will be entertained, while applications submitted by post or in person will not be considered.”

How to fill out the application form?

There are four sections of the form, including personal information, official information, preferences, and challan.

In the personal information section, people have to enter the following things:

• CNIC
• Applicant name
• Husband/father name
• Gender
• Date of birth
• Mobile number
• Email
• District of domicile
• Postal address
• Permanent address
• Kin information: name, CNIC number, and mobile number

Employment information

• Personal/employment number (Payroll)
• Date of entry in government service
• Service categories
• Service group
• Payscale (OR equivalent)
• Parent department
• Current department
• Office number
• Current posting (designation)

Preferences

• 1st preference
• 2nd preference
• Plot categories: There are two categories varying the pay scale range.
• Undertaking: You will have to tick the boxes in this section

Challan

In the last section, applicants will have an e-voucher, which they can print. It will have the applicant’s name, CNIC number, voucher number, parent department, preferences, plot size, and registration fee of Rs1,000 (excluding taxes).

Note: The voucher has an expiry date. It will have a username based on the CNIC number.

Payment can be made via the app or by visiting the JazzCash Centre. Applicants are advised to take a screenshot or note the transaction ID to ensure the payment is successfully processed.

Who is eligible?

All serving provincial government employees are eligible for projectOfficers of the Pakistan Administrative Service and the Police Service of Pakistan of the federal government, who have served in the departments of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for at least five years, are also eligible to avail the opportunity.

Terms and conditions

A non-refundable fee of Rs1,000 has to be paid.The fee can be deposited in the Bank of Khyber account through online banking, Easypaisa or Jazz Cash by March 25, 2025.

How do I pay the fee?

Intended people can pay via JazzCash payment method. They will have to open a JazzCash account, go to “more” options, select “Paymir by KPITB,” choose “Dastak,” enter their full voucher number, and confirm. IBAN or direct account deposits would not be accepted.
