Large supply convoy of 225 vehicles arrives in Parachinar with essential goods

A convoy of supplies, comprising 225 vehicles, successfully arrived in Parachinar on Tuesday night, delivering essential food items and petroleum products.

According to official sources, the arrival of this supply convoy is crucial for meeting the needs of the local population.

In Kurram, efforts continue under a peace agreement to enhance security in the area.

A convoy carrying fruits, vegetables, and essential supplies from Thall arrived in Parachinar, drawing a large crowd upon its arrival on Tuesday.

Moreover, educational institutions in Parachinar have been closed for two months, raising concerns about the potential loss of the academic year for students.

A comprehensive search operation was conducted, targeting insurgents and extremists in Lower Kurram last month.

Last month, APP reported that a religious leader, Qari Rizwanullah, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in the Sadda Pir Qoum area.

The demolition of bunkers and the filling of associated trenches are ongoing, with a reported 272 bunkers destroyed thus far.

Furthermore, the phased collection of weapons and arms to be surrendered to the state has commenced, contributing to the stabilization of the region.

Authorities have also apprehended over 100 individuals identified as troublemakers, further supporting the peace initiative.
