A security guard at Gulab Devi Hospital was severely injured following an assault allegedly by students, reportedly triggered by issues related to improper parking in Lahore.
The guard sustained deep injuries to his face and neck during the incident.
Eyewitnesses reported that the students fled the scene “immediately” after the attack.
The hospital administration called the police and initiated legal action against the students involved.
Security guards protested outside the Medical Superintendent’s office, demanding better security equipment.
The MS assured the guards of full support in addressing their concerns.
